Buying a Horse
There is a lot that goes into buying a horse. It is a daunting task.
Though we are not a broker, we are happy to consult with you if you are looking to buy a horse, either from us or another party.
Most of the time the individuals that are buying a horse from us are leasors who have fallen so in love with their horse that they can’t live without them! We often have horses that are technically sellable to the right rider. We do not need to sell our horses, but we are willing to explore the idea with some of our mounts if it is the ideal rider.
We are well networked in the community and are happy to route you to an appropriate broker or if there is a mount you have in mind we can offer some advice or be a second opinion.

Help from our ATU trainers on tracking down and finding a horse that matches what specifics you are interested in:
$50 for us to talk through our contacts and posts to help you find the right horse.
($100 finders fee if you purchase a horse that ATU finds)
$60/hour if you would like an ATU trainer to accompany you to view a horse. Both onsite time and commute time is included in the hour calculation. Based on the trainer’s availability. $20.00 additional if trailer is needed if arranged ahead.
Trailering Services:
$60/hour for full transport (we haul it)
ATU will pick up your horse and deliver it to the address of your choice.
**Only available in Pierce, King, Snohomish, Thurston, and Lewis Counties.

Please note that we run a robust lesson and training program. The more lead time you give us, the more likely we are to be able to accommodate you.
