Rehoming Success Stories!!
-
Henry
Originally named Henry, half brother to Jima and another Munger bred Thoroughbred, was added to the ATU lesson program in 2022. In November of 2022 we met a new rider. It was love at first sight. We had him chosen for her first lesson and she was leasing him within 60 days! Within another 3-4 months she decided she couldn’t do without him and began the process of purchasing him.
-
Tsunade
We are so excited for Tsunade’s next steps. Often when our horses move on their new owners are ATU riders and Leasers who are ready to take the step into horse ownership. “Nade” has been in our program for quite some time and been a wonderful asset. But we are excited for her that she has finally found her person.
-
Cloud
Cloud was purchase by ATU at the same time as Sora in Summer 2022. He was intended to be our new Classical Dressage mount, however his leaser that was training on him at the time fell in love and asked to purchase him from ATU. In March 2024, Cloud officially became theirs.
-
Rossi
ATU helped broker this gelding's sale to a client we had who was interested in owning. She owned him for a short period and when her job relocated her she just wanted to see him go to a good home. Instead of relocating him across the country, she gifted him to ATU. The same individual who purchased Cloud fell in love with him so ATU sold him to them so that he would have a loving home.
-
Sora
This pairing was meant to be. Visiting from central Oregon, Nicole contacted us to see if she could meet Sora when she was in town. Their meeting and first ride were perfect. She even shares similar traits and lineage with her original heart horse who is retired now. We couldn’t be happier with her new home. We know they will love each other for a long time coming.
-
Roca
Who would have guessed that this spicy little red head was destined for a life with a little girl. Roca always had a health dose of opinions but was really a pint sized sweetheart. She just needed her own little girl and we are so happy for her that she has found that. We get updates from her new owners and are so happy and excited for them and how wonderfully they are doing.
-
Toph
We really wanted to see Toph go to a confident young rider who wanted to excel in jumping and wouldn’t be scared of the power and speed that this little mare had to offer. and we were so happy that she found her person. We even got to see her at some competitions in 2025 and it was sweet to see her living her best life.
-
Kira
We were so happy that Kira found such a lovely home with her new owner. We got the privelage of trailering her to her new home up north and getting to see her settle in to her new beautiful facilities. She even gets a live-in fellow Andalusian gelding, and they seemed to hit it off right away.
-
Finn
This beautiful 3 year old had his year to grow up and learn some social skills as well as ground manners. It was time for him to find his home with people who had the time to start him right. We think he found a great home and we hope they will keep up updated on his progress.
-
Onyx
This beautiful Warlander mare is the mother to our adorable Princess Zelda. Our first foray into breeding. When we decided not to breed her for a 2nd round, we made the hard decision to let her find her new family that will let her take the next steps in her journey. She is now living on the other side of the mountains and ready to see what life has to offer now.
-
Cooper
When we decided it was time for Cooper to get to find his own person, we really hoped it would be to a home that enjoyed trails, since he loves them so much and we were excited that this lovely couple found him to join their family. They love hitting the trails together and we think Cooper is going to be so happy!
